Birthdays

Well another year, another birthday. This year has been such a rollercoaster.

This time last year i was single And still working as a nanny for the England's.

Lets recap:- Last year i had arranged to go to the Lamb pub, Rustington for a few birthday drinks. Quite a few people came with some unexpected one's. I ended up talking to Ben, trying to findout who he is and who's friend brought him along. The conversation didn't stop all night to my surprise.

Then two weeks later i had a phone call asking if i would like to go to the Black Rabbit pub in Arundel for Ben's birthday drinks. But when i arrived one person was there, "not Ben" but someone that i felt a little uncomfortable with. After ringing all the mobile numbers i could to find out if they were coming or was this a set up. A mini bus arrived with alot of people to save me.

The night ended up being Ben and myself talking . And The other person trying to get in on every conversation. We all went back to Ben's to play pool. And to my surprise , i hadn't noticed but i was the last to leave.

two days and alot of talking later I had a boyfriend. Now A husband to be.

This has changed my whole understanding of the bigger picture.

My whole perspective of life is that We can only see a corner piece of a massive tapestry. It is so intricate and detailed that we can't even imagine what the whole picture looks like. But that corner piece is our lives and the detail is our achievements and struggles. Even when we think our life isn't gonna get better or change , just remember that God sees the whole Tapestry.
He knew Ben was there in the next piece of my Tapestry and i had to wait for it to be revealed.
Isn't God amazing, He knew that if i had met Ben before now that it wouldn't be the best for us both. In his gentle way he guides us to the next stage in our lives.
